"Behold, a sower went out to sow." (Matthew 13:3)

We are Christian Evangelists, from different Churches and denominations, that are compelled to share and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the highways and byways and to every creature. We are comprised of Christian Street (Open-Air) Preachers, Street Evangelists, Christians Gospel Tract Sowers, & Christian Prayer Warriors that have been brought together and that regularly hit the streets of Washington DC and the DC Metropolitan Area; including Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and North Carolina, to witness, and share & proclaim the Gospel.

"Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, you who are God my Savior, and my tongue will sing of your righteousness. Open my lips, Lord, and my mouth will declare your praise." (Psalm 51:12-15)

Each Washington DC Evangelists team member should be a Christian member of a Christian church and a regular attendee there, pray regularly, read their Bible regularly, and someone that knows the Gospel. The Gospel is the key to being successful in evangelism. Worried about apologetics, don't be, apologetics can save no one, only the Gospel of Jesus Christ can. Worried or have fear about sharing your faith, don't be; Romans 1:16, because you know the Gospel is the power unto salvation, without it no man can be saved, you know this to be true, and they need to hear about it. They must hear the Gospel and they are not going to Church to hear it. That's what we are all about, "for we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake." (2 Corinthians 4:5)

"Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone." (Mark 16:15 ~ New Living Translation)

We prefer to go to locations where there will be a continual flow of a multitude of people. In Washington DC we are blessed in that every location is considered a "good place to fish," so much so that we rarely even use that saying. In addition to, we also prefer locations where there is public property (government property is not public property) and preferably where the acoustics will be good for open air type street preaching. Be sure to check our Calendar under Updates often, and if you would like to get a glimpse of some of the evangelism we do, please see some of our street evangelism photos in our Photo Gallery and Video Resources.

"I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me." (Romans 15:30)

You are more than welcome to come and just watch; you do not have to participate or help in anyway; however prayer support in the field is greatly appreciated. Prayer Warriors are the most important team members we have.

While observation does not require a membership application, participation does. Please take a moment to read and fill out these short forms, they are in a Microsoft Word Document format and you should be able to enter in your information. Please contact us through the below contact form, and please email them to us to the email address listed on the bottom of each Word document. If you would like to come out and watch us, you are welcome to bring them with you as well.

"Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord." (Jude 1:3-4)

The reason we must require that you read and complete the Member Application and agree with us on the primary issues regarding the Gospel and salvation is because we are ambassadors of Jesus Christ. And when we are on the streets doing evangelism we cannot waste time debating secondary issues and in front of non-Christians.

Please let us know if you have any questions, we do offer training. Thank you and God bless you!

Text for The Good Test Gospel tract:
Please read the following questions carefully, be honest and listen to your conscience. Would you consider yourself to be a good person? The Bible says in Proverbs 20:6 “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness…” Let’s see if you qualify as being a good person. Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever stolen anything, irrespective of its value? Jesus said, “I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart” (Matthew 5:28). Have you ever looked at someone with lust? The Bible says that if someone hates another person they are a murderer (I John 3:15). Have you ever hated anyone? If you have answered “Yes” to the previous questions, then you have admitted that you are a liar, a thief, an adulterer and a murderer and we’ve only looked at 4 of the 10 Commandments. If God were to judge you by this standard would you be innocent or guilty? You know you are guilty and deserving of an eternity in Hell. Do you still think you are a good person or do you now understand that you are a sinner (Romans 3:23, I John 3:4) and deserve the wrath of God? Jesus Christ came to earth and died a criminal’s death not because He had broken the Law, but because we had. Romans 5:8 “…God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” What should you do? Repent, turn from your sins and put your complete faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. For more information please visit
